A privately owned ceramics facility located in Midtown, Cleveland. Initiated in 2024, this space is focused on fostering an inspired environment in which established artists are encouraged to experiment and create at large-scale.

Community focused throughout our entire process, we encourage artists and teams to make work to be fired in our industrial sized hybrid wood kiln.

Our focus is to foster an enlivened space for artists to freely take on their largest, most ambitious works - pushing the limits of materiality and expression.

FOUNDER

In 2020, sculptor Alexander Demetriou purchased an 11,000 SF warehouse building in Cleveland, OH to establish his private sculpture studio. He spent the next three years building kilns and diligently designing a space that could accommodate other dynamic makers.

Dispel is Alex’s vision for a space that can foster collaboration, original dialogue, and progressive making practices.
